Talent Demand Working Group

We believe convening representative contributors in the education and employment sector ensures a match between talent demands and talent pools.

In September 2019, the Talent Demand Working Group published the 6th Edition of the West Michigan Talent Assessment and Outlook. This report, as well as a data supplement, can be found in the Publications section of this website.

As a result of the pandemic and growing need for timely, high-quality labor market information, we opted to transition our annual talent demand report into a quarterly format to keep stakeholders apprised of trends as they emerge. The first Quarterly Labor Market Report was published in March 2021 and covers the fourth quarter of 2020.

Stay tuned for quarterly reports from 2021, which will reveal the impact of COVID-19 on the West Michigan labor market 1-year after the pandemic.
